About Waterloo Cottage
Welcome to Waterloo Cottage, a beautifully restored 19th-century retreat that combines historic character with modern comfort. This charming cottage provides the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway, surrounded by the stunning countryside and attractions of Warwickshire.
Ideally located within walking distance of Stratford-upon-Avon, guests can explore the birthplace of William Shakespeare, enjoy performances by the Royal Shakespeare Company, and visit a variety of nearby National Trust properties. Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa and the picturesque Cotswolds are also all within easy reach, making the cottage an excellent base for discovering the region.
The Cottage
Originally constructed around 1816 as part of a row of cottages commemorating the Battle of Waterloo, the property retains much of its historic charm while offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The cottage features two well-appointed bedrooms. One bedroom can be configured as either twin single beds or a luxurious 6ft super king-size bed, allowing flexibility for families, couples or friends. Please let us know your preferred arrangement when booking.
Outside, guests can enjoy a generous garden and patio area, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Ample off-road parking is also available.

Additional Information
- The cottage staircase is a traditional spiral design and is relatively narrow. Please refer to the property photographs before booking.
- A Dolce Gusto coffee machine is provided, along with a cafetière for guests who prefer freshly brewed coffee.
- Dogs are welcome; however, they must not be left unattended in the cottage and should be kept off the furniture.
- Guests bringing dogs are kindly asked to provide their own pet bedding and food/water bowls.
